Schooling, Instruction & Clinics

As from 1st June groups of up to six people from different households may meet up as long as social distancing rules are observed. This allows us to run clinics and rallies for a maximum of 5 people with one trainer.

Andrew Lovell’s clinic on Sunday has a few places left. See here for details… http://www.pontispool.co.uk/riding-clinics/

Housekeeping

In line with government advice we are implementing the following procedures

1/ Bookings are made online and the office remains closed to visitors

2/ Toilet numbers are restricted so that they can be kept regularly cleaned and disinfected

3/ The arena gate and handles on skips and wheelbarrow are regularly disinfected

4/ All vehicles are to be parked a minimum of 10m apart

5/ Clients are advised of the current government legislation and to follow their advice on hand washing etc.

6/ No horses are to be left tied to a vehicle unattended

7/ Dogs to be kept on leads at all times

8/ Bring your own water as the stable yard cabins and café areas remain closed

Arena Cross Country

This has proved very popular and will remain in place until we resume residential camps.

Residential camps

It appears from Government advice that staying away from home will not be permitted until 4th July at the earliest. Once we have definitive guidance we will be contacting all clients and organisers to confirm bookings and advise on how to implement the government requirements.

Competitions

We are taking guidance and are in consultation with the various governing bodies as to how we will be able to run competitions within government guidelines. This is ongoing and we will inform everyone when we can be more specific

Hay, straw and haylage

Due to the incredibly dry and hot period we have experienced winter forage could be short this year. In addition to our popular large bales we are making a limited number of small bales for collection or local delivery (minimum order) Please contact Richard on 07899994420 for further information.

After a long period of closure it has been great to see our facilities being used again and we very much appreciate your support and feedback. Once we know when we can restart the camps and competitions we look forward to having Charlotte back in the office. In the meantime please be patient if your query is not answered immediately.

We all look forward to a more normal life soon so please remember that should you or a member of your household show any of the coronavirus symptoms, stay at home.

Stay safe.
